Submitting your brand new website to directories can be a real pain. especially because every directory has it’s own system and conditions. Some even take up to 6 months or more to evaluate your entry. Besides this, your frustration with how repetitive this task is will constantly be poked by sites offering paid automatic submissions.

I found a few websites that offer a good, alternative and most importantly: FREE solutions:

Is a very nice effort, It offers a well formated table with loads of directories. If you click one it opens up a new window with a submit form which is already filled according to your profile information.
The only thing you need to select now is the category because those vary on pretty much every directory. just one captcha (if needed) and… your done.

Not the quickest solution but FAR more time efficient than manually going trough lists.

Another solution is:

SubmitterBot.com
This is a similar solution. also a very long list of directories but here, when you select one, you get a form with only a category-select and a captcha..

semi-automatic and a bit faster in my opinion. The only real con of this is that you lose the option to alternate fields per link.
